Casetta was a walk-up cafe concept that served guests from an Airstream trailer off the beach at a Bahamian casino resort. Much of my thinking for the identity derived from the meaning of the restaurant's name, the Italian word for "house". I worked to invoke elements of the entryway as the threshold to aroma and flavor, that amazing thing that happens when you step inside for dinner and, as soon as you crack the door, the warmth and smells of the kitchen hit you in the face.
